Welcome to GVZ Physiotherapy and IMS
Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy
I am pleased to offer physiotherapy management of musculoskeletal conditions to clients in Quesnel. This includes pre- and post-operative rehabilitation and conditions such as back and neck pain, sciatica, joint pain, osteoarthritis, sports injuries and all other aches and pains of musculoskeletal origin.
Gunn Intramuscular Stimulation
I also offer Gunn Intramuscular Stimulation (Gunn IMS), a ‘whole body’ system for the diagnosis and treatment of persistent myofascial pain. It involves a broad assessment of the whole body, not only the painful area(s), and it considers dysfunction in the nervous system as a cause of persistent myofascial pain and dysfunction. Gunn IMS involves inserting thin needles into specific muscles in order to stimulate the muscles and nerves.
Who may benefit from Gunn IMS assessment and treatment?
